For the past 10 years, Boise Paper has hosted Project UP™ planting events across the country – turning neglected urban spaces into clean, green gathering places where residents can come together, relax, and thrive. The goal has always been to help our neighbors lift up communities in need.
With unprecedented obstacles keeping us apart and weighing down our communities, we strongly believe Project Up is more important than ever. Plus, we miss you!
To show our appreciation and to increase the number of communities we can positively impact in 2020, we’re give away more than 2,500 trees directly to our customers!
You can plant just one tree in your own yard or organize a small team event to plant multiple trees where you work or play. Whatever you choose, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating the mission of Project Up!

FAQs
What type of tree will you be sending?
Our partner, Arbor Day Foundation, will select the tree that will thrive best in your region. Typically, they choose Longleaf Pine (Southeastern U.S.), White Pine (Northern and Central U.S.) and Ponderosa Pine (Western U.S.).
When will the trees arrive?
Trees will ship in early to mid-October.
How big are the trees and how do I plant them?
These are tree seedlings, typically 7-8 inches long. Arbor Day Foundation will send instructions for planting along with the tree.
Can we capture this on social media?
Yes! We encourage you to download the Cinebody app that will help us to consolidate video clips. Instructions for Cinebody will be sent to you in an email after you order your trees. You can also post using the hashtag #ProjectUp2020
